*Remote Access To Your Data

This is a service that every business needs for complete connection to you businessís data at all times.  This service offers remote users (users that are outside the local network) the same information that they would have in the local network.  How does it work?  The server (a standalone computer that stores the central data for the network) becomes a portal using licenses, and security permissions to provide service for 5 or more concurrent connections to the server to use programs or file sharing.  Think of the possibility of accessing you accounting software from the luxury of your home or updating critical file information from  a hotel on a business trip, at anytime, anyplace your information is at your fingertips.  This service also supports remote printing and there is a security appliance available to provide maximum security for sensitive data using VPN (Virtual Private Networking) technology that has 5 layers of security.

The minimum requirements for this service is:

  • 50x10 Mb Internet Service with Static IP Address
  • Data Server with Xeon 2.4Ghz Quad Core processor with 4 gigabyte of memory and 20 gigabyte hard drive
  • Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard software or better
  • Terminal Server License Key

Using a Terminal Server is what a small to medium, multi-location business needs to link all locations to one data source.  If your business has employees in the field to be linked to the office at all times this service is what you have been waiting for.  Email Legacy Information Technologies now at to discuss the options your companyís network is capable of.  We look forward to working with you.
